Cartagena doesn’t feel far from Poland when you’re traveling to meet wonderful business partners and colleagues from the Alliott Global Alliance family. That’s why we didn’t hesitate to take part in the recent AGA Latin America & Caribbean Regional Meeting. Marta Solarska-Kaleńczuk, COO and Partner of our law firm, represented Wołoszański & Partners among 40 other legal and accounting professionals for two days of insightful discussions and networking.
The Alliott Global Alliance event, hosted by Peña Mancero Abogados and Visión Contable & Financiera, brought together 40 accountants and lawyers from across the region and beyond, including delegates from the United States 🇺🇸, Spain 🇪🇸, Turkey 🇹🇷, and Poland 🇵🇱. The two-day conference was rich with insightful discussions on client opportunities, regional challenges, and maximizing the use of alliance resources. These sessions not only fostered deeper connections among participants but also encouraged a broader perspective on our shared business challenges and opportunities.
One of the key focuses of the meeting was learning about AGA’s digital transformation. Significant time was dedicated to the utilization of the alliance’s cloud-based, collaborative software platform, AGAOne. Marta Solarska-Kaleńczuk led an interactive session demonstrating how AGAOne can revolutionize our collaborative efforts, streamlining operations and enhancing our ability to present unified regional and global solutions to clients.
The Practice Management Discussion sessions at the conference tackled critical topics such as retention strategies, client referrals, and business pitching. Clara Salvai, CEO at Barakat + Bossa, along with Heiddy Moronta, delivered an exceptional presentation on professional retention initiatives, emphasizing the importance of career development, mentorship programs, and employee engagement. Their insights added significant depth to the understanding of effective firm management and employee satisfaction.
Reflecting on the experience, Marta noted, “I was very impressed with the region’s commitment to pro-business activities and the high level of managerial knowledge and understanding of the challenges discussed at both the member and alliance levels. We are pleased to see that AGAOne is proving to be an effective solution for many of these challenges.”
