    Who we are

    We run Wołoszański & Partners, a Warsaw-based business-law firm known online as WLAW. We work with business clients in Polish and English: from startups and small companies, through firms with foreign capital and capital groups, to in-house legal teams whose load we take off. Our team is made up of attorneys-at-law (radcowie prawni) and advocates who combine knowledge of the law with hands-on experience applying it in business - we do not just interpret regulation, we advise on how a legal decision affects your bottom line.

    If you run the Polish operations of a foreign-owned group, this is also where our legal solutions for international corporations start.

    Our core is day-to-day, ongoing legal support. We run your legal department on a subscription model (outsourcing), support and relieve internal legal and HR teams, draft contracts and advise on an ongoing basis. We form and transform companies in Poland and abroad, handle corporate and contract matters, compliance and AML, and court disputes and arbitration. We advise on employment law and train teams, and in the digital area we work on new technologies and AI, data protection (GDPR), e-commerce and digital assets. When a transaction arises, we support it with due diligence and negotiations.

    We have also built a dedicated Automotive specialism, covering vehicle distribution, market surveillance, product safety, and competition law across sales channels.

    What is WLAW and who does it work for?

    WLAW (Wołoszański & Partners) is a Warsaw business law firm. We work for companies, their owners and management boards: Polish and foreign companies, capital groups, investors and in-house legal teams.

    Our core is day-to-day legal support, including on a retainer basis (an outsourced legal department). We also handle company law, M&A with legal due diligence, compliance and AML, litigation and arbitration, employment law, technology law, data protection (GDPR), e-commerce and the automotive sector.

    What matters do you not handle?

    We do not handle consumer matters (acting for the consumer), family matters or criminal cases of private individuals. We work for companies, their owners and management boards.

    We do handle white-collar crime: we protect companies and the people who run them (see white-collar crime). If you run a business and write to us from a private email address about that business, you have come to the right place.

    Do you work in English and for companies from abroad?

    Yes, we work in English and Polish. We advise companies with foreign capital, capital groups and foreign investors. We help foreign companies enter the Polish market, from incorporation to day-to-day support.

    For foreign law firms we act as their Polish team (local counsel or co-counsel): we run the Polish part of the matter and report to you, without taking over the client relationship.

    Is WLAW part of an international network of law firms?

    Yes, we are the only Polish law firm in the Alliott Global Alliance network. We have represented the network in Poland since 2020. Alliott Global Alliance brings together independent law, accounting and advisory firms in 105 countries.

    In a cross-border matter we run the Polish part and coordinate vetted partner firms abroad. You have one point of contact in Warsaw.

    What publications and recognition does WLAW have?

    We co-author the Poland chapters of three international legal guides: ICLG Competition Litigation Laws and Regulations 2027, Chambers Global Practice Guide: Blockchain & Crypto-Assets 2026 and the IEL Guide to Restrictive Covenants 2026.     Who will handle my matter?

    Our attorneys-at-law and advocates are supervised by their professional self-governing bodies: the National and Warsaw Regional Chambers of Legal Advisers and the Polish Bar Council and Warsaw Bar Council. They are bound by professional secrecy and carry compulsory professional liability insurance.
