Michał Wołoszański

Michał Wołoszański advises technology, automotive and crypto-asset businesses on transactions, disputes and regulatory matters, combining his legal education with management training (INSEAD Global Executive MBA).

He is the founder and managing partner of the firm and heads its blockchain and crypto-asset practice. He advises international clients on the Polish implementation of EU financial-services legislation, including the MiCA Regulation. He co-created CompliancePass and the Web Shield Legal Library, the firm's regulatory-intelligence and onboarding tools for crypto and payments compliance.

In corporate transactions, including M&A and cross-border investments, Michał looks at the whole venture: he identifies the risks of the transaction itself and those that arise once it closes, and shapes legal solutions around the client's business environment.

On a daily basis he advises automotive importers and dealers, and software producers serving banks and insurers, including on intellectual property and copyright. He litigates disputes under commercial, agency and distribution contracts and designs personal data management systems that comply with the GDPR.

He graduated from the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Warsaw, majoring in law.

He took part in a year-long educational programme on American law organised by the University of Florida and the University of Warsaw.

Michał acquired his legal adviser training at the District Chamber of Legal Advisers in Warsaw and completed his post-graduate studies at INSEAD Global Executive MBA.

It outlines the legal framework for crypto-assets in Poland, including the implementation of the EU MiCA Regulation, anti-money laundering (AML), token issuance and trading, and their taxation.
